A leading nonprofit healthcare system in Northern New Jersey is seeking an experienced accounting leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of its Accounting department on a system-wide basis. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in accounting or finance, significant healthcare experience, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide system-wide leadership and day-to-day management of the Accounting department
- Work with department heads, clinical leaders, and the Executive Team to communicate financial information and support organizational needs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Minimum of five years of healthcare experience
- Prior management experience preferred
- CPA preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and computer-based accounting and information systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to leaders without a financial background
- Professional presence and ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Compensation: $150,000–$180,000 annually
