Training Specialist – EverLights
Location: Lindon, UT (On-site, full-time)
EverLights is a leader in permanent holiday and architectural lighting, helping homeowners and businesses enjoy beautiful, customizable lighting year-round. We’re growing quickly and are looking for an experienced Training Specialist to build and lead our training programs from the ground up.
Role Overview
You will be responsible for developing, organizing, and delivering robust training content across multiple disciplines, with a primary focus on technical installation training for our products. Additional focus areas include:
- Customer support training
- Sales training
- Internal processes and SOPs
This role is in-office at our Lindon, UT headquarters and is ideal for a self-starter who can take ownership, create structure where there isn’t any, and run training programs with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain comprehensive training programs, starting with technical installation (for installers, technicians, and related roles).
- Create clear, engaging training materials: manuals, guides, videos, checklists, SOPs, and e-learning content.
- Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and refreshers.
- Partner with Operations, Support, Sales, and Leadership to identify training needs and prioritize content.
- Standardize internal processes and document best practices into scalable, repeatable training modules.
- Evaluate training effectiveness and improve content based on feedback and performance metrics.
- Own and manage the training calendar, onboarding schedules, and certification/assessment processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience (5 years preferred) in a Training Specialist, Training Manager, Instructional Designer, or similar role.
- Experience building and running training programs with limited guidance or existing infrastructure.
- Strong background in technical or field-training environments (installation, trades, low-voltage/electrical, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable training both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex processes into clear, step-by-step content.
- Highly self-motivated, organized, and proactive; able to take ownership and drive projects to completion.
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with training tools (LMS, video tools, course authoring software) is a plus.
