What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant to Sales Manager, Wood Flooring Showroom position at EVERLAST FLOORS?
Everlast Floors is looking for an Assistant to train with our Sales Managers. The Sales Assistant will take pride and ownership of all internal and external guests coming & going in and out of the showroom. This team member will be a Sales Assistant in training, and will work hand in hand with our top sales people on projects.
PLEASE NOTE: Pay is variable based on experience. There will be a learning curve but once you start successfully assisting in sales, you will be able to make more than what you initially start at.
Responsibilities
- The Sales Assistant is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience for every Everlast Floors customer while maintaining a premium showroom environment.
- You will represent the company, serve as the initial point of contact, greet customers as they enter the retail space, and ensure the best possible experience when visiting our showrooms.
- Behind the scenes, you will work hard on the details pertaining to sales transactions and coordinate with Office Staff, Project Managers, Estimators, Clients, Vendors, Builders, Designers, Architects and the Everlast Floors Sales Managers.
- You will operate in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple interactions with attention and care.
- The Sales Assistant will also assist the lead sales person and assist with customer plans, revisions & communications.
- Collaborates with sales team, office team, builders, designers and clients etc.
- Follow through with resolving opportunities identified.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Must be available Monday through Friday and very occasional times on a Saturday (which is optional)
Requirements
- Experience checking in or serving customers or clients.
- Premium trades, retail, hospitality, or restaurant experience a plus.
- A passion for providing exceptional service and experiences.
- A dedicated desire to connect with customers, solve problems, and create lasting positive experiences with each customer interaction
- Excellent written and verbal communications.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment.
- Exceptional time management skills and accountability.
- Team player with an ability to work collaboratively.
- Robust computer and technical skills. Working knowledge of Mac operating systems is a plus
- Clean cut & well dressed.

- Good knowledge of Emailing, Online Scheduling, billing Software
