What are the responsibilities and job description for the Team Lead position at EVERIDGE?
Essential duties and responsibilities include, however are not limited to:
- Production lead may fill in for supervisor during their absence
- Knowledgeable and capable of the speed and efficiency necessary to complete all work in a timely manner
- Lead person will direct activities and train other departmental employees, as well as assist with new hires
- Possess full knowledge and hands-on skill to perform all work within the assigned department
- Segregate usable metal and wood pieces, storage and reuse
- Ensure all parts are assembled in compliance with quality standards
- Contributes to 6S process (Sort, Shine, Straighten, Standardize, Sustain, Safety)
- Cross trains with other departments
- Complies with EHS policies
- All other duties as assigned
Physical Effort/requirements:
- Display the ability to safely handle all panels and parts used in assembly
- Display the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Display the ability to climb a ladder
- Display a full range of physical motion
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periods
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices
- Minimal one year in leadership role
Recommended Training/Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Skillsets in Communication, Leadership, and Manufacturing
Salary : $22 - $26
