What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembler 2 position at EVERIDGE?
JOB SUMMARY and KEY OBJECTIVES:
Performs repetitive work station or line assembly operations and assembles units to completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES and TASKS:
- Ensures any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Operates press brake to assemble sheets.
- Performs carpenter related work.
- Works with others to complete panel formats.
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job.
- Performs related duties as needed by supervision.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High school education, and up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL EFFORT
- Ability to do heavy lifting
- Ability to read and follow blueprints / instructions
- Full range of physical motion throughout the torso
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time with periodic break periods
- Ability to work safely around heavy equipment mechanical devices
