As we continue to grow, we are looking for a highly organized Construction Project Manager to join our team and help ensure every project is planned, scheduled, and executed efficiently.

Position Summary

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for accurately estimating residential construction projects while coordinating production schedules and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors. This role plays a critical part in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to Everguard Exterior's quality standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment where priorities can change quickly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare accurate material and labor estimates for residential exterior construction projects.
  • Review project specifications, measurements, and scopes of work to develop detailed cost estimates.
  • Source pricing and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive material costs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate production schedules for subcontractors and internal installation crews.
  • Monitor project timelines and proactively adjust schedules to maximize efficiency.
  • Order materials and ensure they are delivered according to project schedules.
  • Work closely with Sales, Production, and Operations teams to ensure a seamless handoff from sold projects to installation.
  • Track project costs and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and cost savings.
  • Resolve scheduling conflicts and communicate updates to all stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within company software and project management systems.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying process improvements that enhance production and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • 3 years of estimating, project coordination, production scheduling, or construction management experience.
  • Experience in residential construction is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of exterior home improvement products including roofing, siding, windows, doors, gutters, or decking is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, labor costs, and estimating principles.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with vendors, subcontractors, customers, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction/project management software.
  • Ability to read construction plans and specifications is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
