What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Evergreen Ridge Apartments?
We are seeking a full-time housekeeper at Evergreen Ridge Apartments in Asheville, NC. The housekeeper is responsible for keeping the common areas of the buildings clean and presentable as well as helping to clean apartments at move out and to prepare for new tenants.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The activities listed below are not all inclusive; however, they are indicative of the types of activities normally performed by the housekeeper:
Clean appliances, countertops, cabinets, and floor in kitchen
Clean bathroom fixtures, mirror, floor, etc.
Clean bedroom(s)
Vacuum apartment when maintenance is completed or after carpet/vinyl are professionally replaced.
Wipe down all baseboards.
Make regular inspections of all hallways, buildings, stairwells, porches, elevators, laundry rooms, etc.
Empties waste receptacles throughout the property
Works with maintenance staff when apartments are vacated.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, paper products, etc.
Report any observed necessary repairs to office.
Clean rental office and library restroom and keep supplied when necessary.

Work hours are Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5:30pm
Paid holidays and vacation pay

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
