Family-owned residential remodeling company is seeking a reliable, hands-on Construction Assistant to support ongoing renovation projects. This is a field position assisting with a wide range of remodeling and finish-related tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with residential remodeling work including preparation, finishes, and touch-ups
- Install fixtures such as lighting, plumbing fixtures, appliances, and hardware
- Perform basic electrical and plumbing fixture installation under supervision
- Assist with demolition, site prep, and cleanup
- Complete punch-list and final detail work
- Load, transport, and handle materials and tools
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
- Follow project instructions, schedules, and safety standards
Requirements:
- Must have a pickup truck for transporting tools and materials
- Must have own basic construction tools
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Previous experience in residential construction, remodeling, or handyman work required
- Ability to perform physical labor (lifting, standing, bending)
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
Preferred (Not Required):
- Valid contractor license (General Contractor or similar)
- Advanced trade experience (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, finishes)
