Duties
- Assist with the framing, siding, roofing, drywall installation, and finishing of residential buildings
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks
- Follow blueprints, plans, and instructions to ensure accurate project execution
- Load, unload, and organize materials and supplies on-site to maintain workflow efficiency
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and adhering to safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines and quality standards
- Support the installation of fixtures, cabinets, flooring, and other interior elements as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a residential construction laborer or similar role in building projects
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints with attention to detail
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of safety procedures and proper use of tools and equipment on job sites
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards learning new techniques
- Valid driver’s license preferred; reliable transportation required
- Basic understanding of local building codes and regulations is a plus
