Duties
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, brush pickup and spring/fall cleanup to keep outdoor areas vibrant and healthy
- Operate a variety of groundskeeping and landscaping equipment such as power tools, lawnmowers and trimmers with precision and safety in mind
- Maintain hardscape features like pathways, patios, and retaining walls to ensure durability and visual appeal
- Follow all safety protocols diligently during outdoor work to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or hazards requiring attention
Skills
- This is in preparation for fall clean up and requires use of blowers, rakes, loading leaves and general clean up tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating and troubleshooting landscaping equipment and power tools
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, groundskeeping, or related outdoor work roles
- Skilled in using hand tools for detailed landscaping tasks
- Excellent safety protocol adherence to ensure a secure work environment at all times
- Demonstrated ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with minimal supervision
