Job Summary:

Granite Rehabilitation and Wellness is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to ensure our facility maintains a high level of cleanliness, safety, and appearance.

Essential Functions:

• Perform thorough cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming.
• Operate floor buffers and carpet cleaners to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors.
• Apply sealants and waxes to protect floors.
• Inspect floors for any damage and carry out minor repairs.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed to clean and maintain floors.
• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment.
• Restock cleaning supplies as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of proven work experience as a floor tech or similar role in a cleaning service, (preferred medical facility experience)
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment
• Demonstrates organizational skills
• Work independently and as a team member
• Displays a positive attitude, and dependability
