About the Role
We are seeking a Dental Assistant who is eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment. You do not need years of experience to apply. We are happy to train the right person who has a great attitude, attention to detail, and genuine care for patients.
This is a great opportunity for someone fresh out of dental assisting school or early in their career who wants hands-on experience in a private practice setting. You will work closely with our clinical and hygiene team to help each day run smoothly, assisting with procedures and ensuring patients feel comfortable and cared for.
Your Day-to-Day
- Assist during exams and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Prepare and organize treatment rooms, sterilize and set up instruments
- Take X-rays and follow infection control protocols (training provided if needed)
- Help patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit
- Support the front office as needed with scheduling, phone calls, and patient flow
- Maintain a clean, well-stocked, and efficient workspace
- Work closely with the team to deliver an exceptional patient experience
What We’re Looking For
- A positive, caring personality with excellent communication skills
- A desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a team
- Completion of a Dental Assisting program or equivalent training preferred
- X-ray certification a plus (or willingness to complete shortly after hire)
- Reliable, organized, and comfortable working in a small, close-knit office
- Experience with EagleSoft preferred (training provided)
- Availability to work every Monday and two Saturdays per month
- Tuesdays and Thursdays are optional or flexible depending on office needs

Schedule
- Required: Mondays and two Saturdays per month
- Optional/Flexible: Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Typical shift length: 7–8 hours
Job Type: Part-time
Base Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 14 per week
