We are seeking an experienced, compassionate and dedicated CRMA to join our team as a traveler/contract employee in providing exceptional care to our residents. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospitals, and possess a strong understanding of patient care practices. This role involves working closely with individuals ensuring their comfort and well-being while maintaining high standards of medical documentation and care. This is a temporary position without a guarantee of full-time employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor residents for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Conduct regular health assessments, including taking vital signs and reporting any concerns. .
- Engage residents in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive function.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for all residents by adhering to infection control protocols.
- Provide support for families by communicating effectively about resident care and progress.
Skills
- Experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or hospital settings is essential.
- Knowledge of caregiving practices for individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, hospice care, and senior care is preferred.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and vital signs monitoring.
- Ability to administer medications accurately and safely while adhering to best practices in patient care.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
