DESCRIPTION

The Sarasota campus location is seeking qualified faculty for the following field of study: Construction Management/Engineering. We are currently seeking qualified individuals to join our team as Adjunct Faculty Members at the Sarasota Campus. This is a ground based teaching position in Sarasota, Florida. We are seeking experienced individuals who will provide instruction in an environment that embraces learning, positive spirit, high-performance, integrity and diversity. We offer flexible schedules for adult learners. Classes are held at night and weekends so students and faculty may work full time and attend/teach classes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years' experience in the discipline or related field

• Master's degree required; PhD or Terminal degree preferred

• Degrees in the following fields of study will be considered: Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

• Prior teaching experience

• LEED Certified Preferred

• Excellent spoken and written communication skills

• Strong interpersonal skills

Experience in Alternative and Renewable Energy Management preferred

Instructors are responsible for leveraging their expertise to deliver education services to students through:

• Preparing course plans and materials
• Delivering courses
• Monitoring progress/attendance
• Advising students
• Recording grades and submitting reports

This is not a remote teaching position. Faculty must be able to teach at the Sarasota campus. This is a part time position that requires day and evening availability.
