Overview
Civil Engineer - EI or PE with minimum of 1 year experience. Must have experience in AutoCAD and willing to learn hydraulic programs. The position offers growth within the company and the ability to work on diverse projects including stormwater management systems, water and wastewater facilities, and transportation infrastructure, while coordinating with other disciplines.
Duties
- Lead the design and development of civil engineering projects utilizing CAD software such as AutoCAD to produce plans and technical drawings.
- Hydrological modeling and hydraulic analysis using tools ICPR to assess stormwater systems and land use impacts.
- Oversee construction management activities including site inspections and construction inspection to guarantee adherence to design specifications.
- Prepare engineering reports covering hydrologic studies and permitting documentation.
- Coordinate permitting phases with local authorities by preparing necessary documentation and ensuring regulatory compliance throughout project development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Hands-on experience with hydrological modeling like ICPR is preferred.
- Strong understanding of stormwater systems design, hydraulics calculations.
- Ability to perform technical writing for reports and documentation.
- Knowledge of permitting processes and experience participating in the permitting phase of projects is advantageous.
Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
