We are seeking a highly motivated, relationship-driven sales professional who excels at both business development and strategic account growth. This role is responsible for expanding our referral network and maximizing the value of existing referral partnerships through a balanced focus on new partner acquisition (50%) and referral relationship growth (50%).
The ideal candidate is a proactive hunter and relationship builder with a proven track record of generating new opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and driving sustainable revenue growth. Success in this role will be measured by the number of new referral relationships established, growth in referral volume from existing partners, and overall contribution to market expansion and revenue generation. This candidate will build and maintain strong relationships with hotel concierges, front desk staff, and other key personnel to secure referrals and drive bookings. Additionally, the ideal candidate will identify and develop partnerships with local businesses, tour operators, and other relevant organizations to expand reach and generate new leads.
This position requires regular in-person visits to referral partners and prospective referral sources throughout the Tri-County area. Applicants must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel within the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities
New Referral Partner Development (50%)
· Identify, prospect, and establish new referral partnerships within assigned territories and target markets.
· Develop and execute territory growth plans designed to increase market penetration and referral volume.
· Generate qualified opportunities through networking, cold outreach, industry events, community engagement, and strategic relationship building.
· Maintain a consistent pipeline of prospective referral partners and effectively manage all activity within the CRM.
· Conduct presentations and educational meetings to communicate the company's value proposition and services.
· Negotiate partnership opportunities and secure new referral relationships that align with organizational growth objectives.
· Meet and exceed new referral partner acquisition goals.
· Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline, and KPI reporting.
Referral Relationship Growth & Account Management (50%)
· Develop and strengthen trusted advisor relationships with existing referral partners.
· Create and execute account growth plans designed to increase referral volume and partner engagement.
· Identify opportunities to deepen partnerships, increase referral frequency, and expand market share within existing accounts.
· Conduct regular business reviews and strategic planning meetings with referral partners.
· Position the company as the preferred provider through exceptional service, responsiveness, and relationship management.
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure an outstanding partner and customer experience.
· Monitor referral trends, account performance, and partnership health to proactively address opportunities and risks.
· Increase referral retention, partner loyalty, and long-term revenue contribution from existing relationships.
· Generate partner advocacy and additional referral introductions through strong relationship management.
Performance Metrics

Required Qualifications
· 5 years of successful outside sales, business development, or account management experience.
· Demonstrated success in both new business acquisition and relationship-based account growth.
· Consistent track record of exceeding sales, growth, or revenue targets.
· Experience managing a geographic territory and conducting face-to-face meetings.
· Strong consultative selling, relationship-building, and strategic account management skills.
· Experience utilizing CRM platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
· Exceptional presentation, negotiation, communication, and closing abilities.
· Strong business acumen with the ability to engage executive-level decision-makers.
· Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently.
