Position Description:
We are modernizing its hourly employee timekeeping systems and is seeking a passionate and experienced Analyst to join our Timekeeping and Labor Affairs team. This role is crucial in designing and supporting the application that powers our timekeeping processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop key features for our new, modern timekeeping system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and challenges.
- Leverage expertise in Jira, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Microsoft 365 to drive product strategy and execution.
- Contribute to a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in analysis and design within timekeeping or a related field.
- Deep understanding of hourly employee timekeeping processes and challenges.
- Proficiency with Jira, SharePoint, MS Teams, and Microsoft 365.
- Passion for timekeeping systems and process improvement.
Skills Required:
- Experience implementing workforce systems and processes (WorkForce Software is a plus).
- Time & Attendance: Knowledge of timekeeping regulations, shift patterns, and exception handling.
- Absence Management: Understanding of absence policies, accrual calculations, and absence tracking.
- Scheduling: Knowledge of scheduling best practices, optimization techniques, and employee preferences.
- Reporting: Understanding of timekeeping, absence, and scheduling processes and data to provide reports for auditing and managing data.
- Database Management (SQL): Proficiency in SQL for data migration, data cleansing, and troubleshooting database-related issues. Understanding of relational database concepts is necessary.
- Integration Skills: Experience with API integrations (REST, SOAP), ETL processes, and data mapping. The solution will integrate with systems like payroll, human resources, and accounting software.
- Security: Understanding of security best practices for protecting sensitive employee data, including user management, access control, encryption, and vulnerability management.
- Scripting/Automation: Skills in scripting languages for automating repetitive tasks during the implementation process.
