Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to lead the analysis, documentation, and communication of business and technical requirements in support of IT initiatives, product development, and business strategy. This role will partner with business and technical teams to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements while supporting the delivery of cloud, web, workflow automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
The ideal candidate has strong experience working in Agile environments, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, documenting complex business processes, and supporting technical project delivery from requirements through implementation.
Key Responsibilities- Gather, analyze, document, and translate business requirements into detailed technical requirements.
- Create and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Define system functionality, workflows, integrations, interfaces, and software requirements.
- Analyze and document current and future-state business processes and workflows.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, design meetings, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, vendors, and project leadership to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Estimate the effort, timeline, and resources required for business analysis activities.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and potential roadblocks, and communicate them proactively.
- Support Agile teams by participating in daily ceremonies and ensuring work is properly documented and prioritized.
- Manage and maintain application-related work items using Jira.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote efficient development processes.
- Participate in customer and stakeholder meetings, serving as a key point of contact for business analysis activities.
- Develop and maintain documentation standards, use cases, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Recommend process improvements and best practices to improve project execution and team effectiveness.
- 5 years of Business Analyst experience supporting large-scale technical initiatives.
- 5 years of experience gathering, analyzing, and translating business requirements into technical documentation.
- Experience working within Agile software development teams.
- 5 years supporting Cloud, Web Application, and/or SaaS development projects.
- Experience documenting business processes, workflows, and system requirements.
- Experience working with Jira for backlog and work item management.
- Big Data projects.
- API integrations.
- Automotive or OEM industry experience.
- Experience supporting AI-enabled business solutions or leveraging LLM tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar AI platforms.
- Strong business and technical requirements elicitation and documentation.
- Business process analysis and workflow documentation.
- Ability to understand complex technical systems and their business impacts.
