Position Overview: The CNC Machinist is responsible for the operation of CNC machinery and producing parts from CAD/CAM designs, in accordance with customer requirements and standards.
Shift: 5pm-5am, Mon-Thurs
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC machinery, such as lathes, mills, and grinders, to produce parts and components.
- Follow CAD/CAM designs and specifications to create parts and components.
- Check accuracy of products using precision measurement tools.
- Perform maintenance and regular inspections of CNC machinery.
- Troubleshoot machinery malfunctions and make any necessary repairs.
- Monitor and adjust machinery as needed to ensure quality products.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with CNC machinery, including lathe, milling, cam, and machine operations.
- Knowledge of safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
