What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit Manager position at Everforth?
We are a midsize CPA firm located in the greater Minneapolis area. We have four offices around the metroplex in Amery, WI; Plymouth, MN; New Ulm, MN; and Mankato, MN. We are about 75 employees total between the offices and offer a wide range of services to all types of clients. We work with privately held businesses, non-profits, government clients, and HNW/UHNWIs. To those clients we offer business advisory, accounting, audit, tax, and wealth management services (with in house CFPs). We are looking for an experienced audit manager who wants to be one of the leaders of the practice. We want someone who wants to specialize in the non-profit/government area of audit working with some of our largest clients.
What you Need
- 5 Years of Public Accounting Experience
- Active CPA REQUIRED
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GASB, GAGAS

Most have strong experience in the government/non-profit industries
- Yellow book/Single-Audit experience is a must
- Proven ability to manage audit teams, review workpapers, and oversee engagement performance.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills with both for-profit and nonprofit clients.

Skilled in budgeting, scheduling, and meeting engagement deadlines.
What you will be doing
- Preparing Financial Statement Audits
- Reviewing Colleagues' Audit paperwork
- Working closely with clients as main point of contact
- Obtaining all necessary information and documents for audit
- Helping uphold company policies and best practices
- Overseeing and mentoring junior accountants

Base Salary: $110,000-$150,000
