Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Employee Benefits Account Manager to oversee the set up, administration and management of employee benefits programs for our current corporate customers. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for benefits-related inquiries, ensure compliance with employment and labor laws, and support the seamless delivery of benefits services. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with HR teams, benefit providers, and employees to optimize benefits administration and ensure legal compliance. This position offers a flexible schedule, management development training, commission based compensation, and residual income potential.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between employees, benefit vendors, and internal HR teams to resolve benefits-related issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, HR legal standards, HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act), and other regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Conduct data collection and analysis to support regulatory reporting, audits, and internal reviews related to benefits administration.
- Support payroll management processes by coordinating with the payroll specialists to ensure accurate deductions and contributions.
- Set up and conduct employee meetings regarding benefits options.
- Work within our territory to secure new companies and help them set up and maintain their benefits programs.
- Work with our partners to accomodate benefits requests for products outside of our immediate offerings.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing employee benefits programs with a strong understanding of health insurance knowledge, HIPAA regulations, and HR compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex benefit concepts clearly to employees at all levels.
- Demonstrated data analysis skills for regulatory reporting and benefits optimization initiatives.
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity while maintaining high attention to detail.

Pay: $52,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year
