The Opportunity

We are speaking with Vice President level investors across the firm's verticals, on a continuous basis rather than against a single requisition. This is a seat for someone who already carries deal responsibility and wants a wider remit: leading execution end to end, owning assets past the close, and having a real hand in what the team commits capital to. You will work directly with Senior Vice Presidents, Managing Directors and vertical leadership, with visibility to the investment committee from the first memo you write.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead transaction execution end to end, including underwriting, structuring, negotiation and coordination of legal, financial, commercial and technical diligence.
• Take investments to funding, owning the recommendation and presenting it to the final investment committee with a defensible view rather than a balanced summary.
• Source and develop relationships that produce proprietary opportunities, including owners, operators, developers, joint venture partners and intermediaries.
• Own assets post close, covering business plan development, operating budgets, capital strategy across dispositions, follow on acquisitions and refinancings, leasing strategy and exit execution.
• Act as project lead on selected investments where delivery is part of the return, working through design, entitlements, construction and operational build out.
• Track performance against underwriting, identify variances early and recommend the corrective action.
• Manage joint venture partners, lenders and third party service providers as the day to day point of contact.
• Contribute to market assessment and thesis work that shapes where the team spends its time.
• Review the modelling and diligence output of Analysts and Associates, and raise the standard of the work around you.
• Travel domestically to visit assets and partners.

What We're Looking For

• A track record in real estate private equity, infrastructure, credit or a comparable real assets seat, with transactions you have taken from first look through close.
• Ownership instincts. The people who do well here chase the answer rather than wait to be assigned it.
• Strong underwriting judgement, with the ability to explain which assumptions actually drive the outcome and defend them under pressure.
• Development, capital projects or operational exposure is a strong advantage, particularly where entitlements, construction or utilities are involved.
• Clear, concise writing. Recommendations here are read by people who decide quickly.
• Comfort with ambiguity and situations without clean precedent, and the credibility to hold a room of senior stakeholders.
• Degree educated in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, Engineering or a related field.
