Responsibilities
- Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
- Help with mobility, transfers, walking, and light exercise.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
- Provide medication reminders according to the care plan.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and basic household tasks.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s health, mood, or behavior.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment.
- Follow all care instructions and respect the client’s privacy and confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, home care, or healthcare experience is preferred.
- Compassionate, patient, reliable, and respectful personality.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, bending, and assisting with mobility.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and provide professional references.
