Role: Data Bricks Architect
Location: Lehi, Utah OR San Jose (Local Only)
Contract: C2C/W2/1099
The Data Bricks Architect will design, optimize, and evolve scalable cloud-based data architectures. This role requires strong Azure expertise, hands-on data engineering experience, and the ability to create clear architecture diagrams and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement secure, scalable cloud data pipelines, data lakes, and warehouses in Azure
Define and maintain cloud data architecture strategy
Create and maintain architecture diagrams and documentation
Hands-on implementation, performance tuning, and cost optimization
Troubleshoot data pipeline, quality, and accessibility issues
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
5 years of data engineering experience (Spark, Databricks, MapReduce)
Strong Azure cloud data architecture experience
Solid data modeling and database (SQL/NoSQL) knowledge
Proficiency with diagramming tools (Visio, Lucidchart, )
Preferred:
Azure services (Databricks, ADLS, Synapse)
Big data technologies and data security/governance
Python and SQL
