Role Overview
We’re looking for a part-time Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us stay in touch with prospects and generate new opportunities.
This is not a high-pressure sales role.
Your job is to start conversations, follow up, and identify opportunities — not to close deals.
What You’ll Do
- Call past customers and check in on upcoming needs
- Follow up on: Inbound leads, Website inquiries, Past quotes, and opportunities
- Reach out to targeted prospects (light outbound)
- Qualify opportunities and schedule calls for the owner
- Keep simple notes in our CRM
What You Will NOT Be Responsible For
- Closing deals
- Negotiating pricing
- Managing operations or deliveries
What We’re Looking For
- Strong phone presence (clear, natural, professional)
- Comfortable starting conversations (not scripted or robotic)
- Organized and consistent with follow-ups
- Based in the United States
Bonus if you have experience in:
- Logistics, transportation, or service-based businesses
- Customer service or account management
Compensation
- Hourly: $20–$30/hour (based on experience)
- Bonus per qualified appointment set
- Additional bonus tied to business that closes
