Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders for food and beverages using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Prepare and serve drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages, adhering to safety standards
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently with excellent time management skills
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Handle cash transactions accurately through POS systems and perform cashiering duties when needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar station, and service supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and high-quality service
- Engage with guests to promote specials, upsell menu items, and enhance overall customer satisfaction
- Uphold responsible alcohol service policies in compliance with legal regulations
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred; fine dining or nightclub experience is a plus
- Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is advantageous but not required
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a lively attitude
