Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Recruitment and Enrollment:
- Follows up on new leads daily and maintains accurate contact management documentation.
- Conducts campus tours, information sessions, open houses, and other events.
- Performs prospective student interviews to assess program fit and eligibility.
- Facilitates the collection and completion of eligibility documentation.
- Maintains and communicates current information regarding academic programs and student services. Partners with team members to provide student orientation.
- Ensures strict adherence to federal, state, and accreditation requirements.
- Maintains accurate and complete admissions records and documentation.
- Never misrepresents institutional programs, services, or student outcomes.
- Complies with federal financial aid policies related to admissions activities.
- Provides complete program information and catalog access prior to enrollment agreement signing.
- Documents all student interactions in the student information system.
- Submits required weekly and monthly reports on recruitment activities and outcomes.
- Promotes student registration by identifying and addressing potential barriers.
- Assesses and documents students' short and long-term career goals.
- Collaborates with Registration to create proposed class schedules.
- Determines anticipated program completion dates.
- Provides mentorship and connects students with support services.
- Initiates and maintains partnerships with local high schools and community organizations.
- Participates in recruitment events and college fairs.
- Coordinates with other departments to streamline enrollment procedures.
- Attends and actively participates in regular admissions meetings.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma/GED required; Associate's Degree preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in admissions, student services, or related customer service role; three or more years strongly preferred
