Please visit www.evapcodc.comBasic Job FunctionThe candidate will work both in our New Jersey or Colorado office and on Construction Sites reporting to the VP of Site Services. The candidate will provide direction and management oversight to Evapco’s site teams, subcontractors and be the day to day point of contact for our client during the punch list and commissioning of Air Cooled Condensers. The role requires that schedule; quality, methods of commissioning and contractual milestones are all achieved while maintaining safety and environmental concerns, with a thorough understanding of the project documents and the engineering and project management functions. This position is based in NJ or CO and requires both domestic and international travel (>75%), and permanent residence at the various construction sites may be required.Required SkillsTeam player with the discipline to work remotely. Be a ‘self-starter’ to ensure all project goals and deadlines are met. Have a practical ‘hands-on’ approach and the ability to prioritize tasks according to their urgency, while often working alone as the sole company representative at site. Able to multi task, execute simultaneous assignments on multiple sites, making sound engineering and commercial decisions to protect the project budget without sacrificing efficiency or quality.Strong leadership, business acumen, change savvy, excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work well with all other disciplines and have the ability to sometimes manage difficult personalities and maintain relationships.Dedication to quality control and quality assurance processes related to construction, punch lists and commissioning.Exhibit professionalism, behave ethically, be detail orientated and work with a high degree of accuracy at all times.Ability to understand and accurately interpret all project documentation, contracts, specifications, and drawings, etc.Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to compile reports and report site problems in a concise, accurate way to the main office with the use of photos, written report, hand drawn sketches, etc. Education and ExperienceBS in Mech. / Elec. Engineering (or related subject) is preferred, but experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.At least 7 to 10 years’ experience in supervisory and management roles related to power plant commissioning.Intermediate level knowledge and experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.Strong knowledge and understanding of OSHA, LOTO procedures, etc.Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesHelp prepare and / or review project documentation (e.g. logic diagrams, P&IDs, valve, instrument and consumer lists, commissioning checklists and procedures, etc.) and client specifications.Manage the Evapco dry cooling site offices. Ensure implementation of and compliance with all relevant site procedures.Communicate with all project stakeholders such as the erection contractors; commissioning groups, clients, owner, suppliers, and the office based project management team regarding all site matters. Attend client and subcontractors meetings and create accurate meeting minutes with action items and follow up.Carry out cold and hot commissioning, plant startup, assist in planning and coordination of this work with all stakeholders and help ensure the accuracy and completion of project documents. Perform scheduled and routine site inspections; provide erection service support and coverage, provide warranty follow up, etc., oversee execution and completion of punch lists and producing written reports as required. Write detailed weekly and monthly reports to cover progress, notable milestones, safety, weather, discussions / meetings, overall project status, etc. and manage and file site documentation as required.The writing of detailed memos, work instructions, procedures and other project documents as required.Provide training, mentoring, direction and guidance to clients, owners and all field and company staff as required.Make site inspections to monitor overall progress, quality of work and compliance to specifications and project documents. (Approximate time in site office ~50%, field presence ~50%)Work in site environments with varying degrees of noise, outdoors in all weathers, is able to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders and scaffold, work at heights with stooping and bending.

Salary : $165,000 - $175,000
