What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assembly Line Welder - Day Shift position at Evapco?
Perform all necessary welding procedures on the Assembly Line including butt welding of panels, suction hoods, cross-over piping, vents, cross braces, flanges and SST basin welding.

- Must possess or be able to acquire and maintain all ASME B31.5 weld certifications
- Work with minimal supervision
- Participate in team problem solving activities that include quality, safety, scrap reduction, and process improvements
- Meet or exceed annual safety, quality, 5-S, and productivity success targets
- Attend training courses as directed by management
- Maintain production schedule
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance PM’s that are the operators’ responsibility
- Complete all production and quality documentation
- Maintain leak rate within skill level
- Maintain acceptable weld appearance
- Maintain acceptable production rate within the skill level
- May perform other duties, as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
- Understanding and proper use of tape measure within 1/16”
- Must be able to use overhead crane
- Basic shop math (i.e. add/subtract/divide/multiply, whole numbers and fractions)
- Must be able to read Production Orders & understand shop drawings
- Familiar with common hand and power tools
- High School diploma or GED equivalent, preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Manufacturing and outdoor environments
- Continuous standing, sitting, squatting, bending, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday
- Lifting of 50 lbs or less
- Wear PPE when required
- Shift work, days, Monday through Thursday, some overtime
Salary : $62,150 - $76,003
