What You'll Do:
- Assist with and perform hydrostatic pressure testing on ASME pressure vessels
- Set up test equipment, connect piping, and verify test readiness
- Monitor pressure levels during testing and watch for leaks or abnormalities
- Verify test results meet specified requirements
- Accurately document test data and inspection results
- Maintain clear communication with production, quality, and engineering teams
- Follow all safety procedures related to pressurized testing and shop operations
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality and testing processes
Required:
- High school diploma or GED
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work hands on in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow written procedures and verbal instructions
- Basic computer skills for documentation and data entry
- Manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or shop floor experience
- Exposure to quality, inspection, or testing roles
- Experience working around piping, pumps, valves, or pressure systems
- Vocational or technical training
