- An experienced industrial refrigeration or HVAC R technician ready to move into a technical office-based role, or
- An engineer who has worked in manufacturing, field service support, or industrial refrigeration environments.
You will work closely with sales, engineering, manufacturing, and customers to ensure RVS equipment is applied correctly, supported accurately, and performs as intended.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Applications & Equipment Support
- Support the proper application of RVS equipment through review of specifications, drawings, and system requirements
- Provide technical input on equipment selection and system configuration based on industrial refrigeration and HVAC R principles
- Assist with troubleshooting questions related to equipment operation, controls, and system performance
- Participate in root cause analysis for equipment or quality concerns and support corrective actions
- Prepare accurate and timely quotations for new equipment, replacement parts, and aftermarket services
- Review new equipment and aftermarket orders for technical accuracy, completeness, and functional intent
- Assist in coordinating paid and warranty related field service support
- Serve as a technical resource for RVS outside sales representatives and customers
- Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external contacts
- Build strong working relationships through responsive, accurate, and practical support
- Travel periodically (approximately 10%) to customer sites, sales offices, and industry meetings
- Participate in relevant industrial refrigeration and HVAC R trade associations as needed

Required / Strongly Preferred:
- Experience in industrial refrigeration or HVAC R (field service, manufacturing support, applications, or similar)
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and equipment documentation
- Strong communication skills and a professional, team oriented approach
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering
- Hands on mechanical aptitude; welding or fabrication exposure
- Familiarity with pressure vessels, ASME Code, or industrial packaged systems
- Experience with controls, PLCs, microprocessor based panels, pumps, valves, or instrumentation
- Experience with root cause analysis or quality investigations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
- Candidates with substantial hands on experience and no formal degree are encouraged to apply.
