We are a well-established roofing company providing high-quality roofing and gutter services to both homeowners and commercial clients across the Pittsburgh area. As demand continues to grow, we are looking to add an experienced Roofing Technician to our team to support our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Position: Roofing Technician
As a Roofing Technician, you will play a key role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of roofing systems. You’ll work closely with supervisors, clients, and support staff to ensure timely and professional service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assigned roofing service calls and repairs in a timely and professional manner
- Inspect roofs to identify issues such as leaks, damage, and structural concerns, and determine effective solutions
- Work with various roofing systems including shingle, metal, flat, tile, and slate
- Perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing ladders up to 40 feet and lifting up to 50 pounds
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including the upkeep of tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner to explain findings and recommended solutions
- Maintain open communication with supervisors and the home office to ensure project accuracy and efficiency
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Roofing Technician or in a similar roofing role
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial roofing systems and installation best practices
- Ability to work independently or as part of a crew in various weather conditions
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction
