- Serve as the first point of contact for all on-site technical issues (computers, printers, network, mobile devices, etc.)
- Escalate and coordinate complex issues with the third party IT provider as needed
- Manage user account creation, permissions, and deactivation in all core systems (Microsoft 365, Point of Rental, Intacct, Teams, etc.)
- Maintain an internal IT ticket tracking and documentation process
- Oversee local and remote network performance; coordinate with external IT partner on firewall, VPN, and Wi-Fi reliability
- Manage hardware inventory, including computers, monitors, tablets, and mobile devices
- Track software licensing, renewals, and compliance
- Perform regular system checks, backups, and update verifications
- Monitor user access controls and security protocols in coordination with the managed IT provider
- Assist with periodic cybersecurity training, phishing simulations, and response planning
- Support data protection policies, ensuring secure handling of sensitive customer and company information
- Act as the internal liaison for technology-related projects (system upgrades, ERP integrations, office expansions, etc.)
- Recommend and implement improvements to streamline daily technology use (hardware set up standards, shared drives, etc.)
- Document procedures, network maps, and standard configurations
- Manage day-to-day communication with the managed IT service provider
- Review service performance and coordinate resolutions for recurring issues
- Assist leadership with evaluating new technology vendors or equipment purchases
