This is a full-time on-site role for a Mammography Technician at EVANS IMAGING CENTER, located in Evans, GA. The Mammography Technician will operate radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging exams, specifically mammograms. Responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, maintaining patient safety, performing quality control checks, following imaging protocols, and accurately documenting exam results. The technician will collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and image accuracy.
- Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Skills and experience in Radiology, Radiologic Technology, and Mammography
- Proficiency in Quality Control processes related to imaging equipment and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and healthcare teams
- Current state licensure in radiologic technology, if applicable
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus
- Experience in healthcare imaging or a similar role is preferred
