The Houseperson ("El/la Asistente de Recamarero/a") ensures the Room Attendants' ability to provide service that meets or exceeds our guests' expectations by efficiently executing their duties and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Maintains all public areas impeccably clean by adhering to our department's high standards of cleanliness.
- Ensures Room Attendants have supplies and equipment necessary to perform their job.
- Prepares the linen for shipping and receiving and is responsible for its distribution.
- Maintains property linen rooms and Room Attendants' carts well-stocked and orderly.
- Collects soiled linen from checkout rooms when instructed by Supervisor.
- Performs window cleaning of guestrooms adhering to productivity standards.
- Works in accordance with set safety standards and practices.
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3-12 months of relevant experience and/or training.
- Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
- Experience in dealing with the public is preferred, such as retail cashier, food industry service, guest service with public contacts, etc.
- Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
- Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.
- Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
- The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
