What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preconstruction Coordinator position at Evans General Contractors?
Evans General Contractors, LLC is a growing, national/international design-build construction company performing work in a wide variety of commercial and industrial markets. Evans seeks to hire a Preconstruction Coordinator for its Dallas, TX office.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize & coordinate incoming Requests-for-Proposals (RFP) and Request-for-Qualifications (RFQ) for estimating team.
- Distribute subcontractor solicitation for pricing through Building Connected.
- Participate in weekly preconstruction and pursuit strategy meetings
- Prepare proposal packages using Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Provide administrative support to the Dallas Office including office supply orders, internal/external meeting coordination, and guest services
- Coordinate and attend events including local marketing/community events, tradeshows, subcontractor and vendor conventions
- Collaborate with Marketing Department to assist with tasks including event planning & coordination, create invitations and other promotional materials
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or higher
- Minimum one (2) year of experience in a corporate work environment
- Construction industry experience is a plus
- Detail Oriented, organized and able to multi-task
- Proficient in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office, Canva
- Excellent communication skills and writing abilities
- Willingness to learn new design software for various projects
- Team player with a positive attitude and an outgoing, dynamic personality
- Ability to travel to corporate events and other Company offices
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
