Full-Time | Criminal Defense | Firearm & Constitutional Law

Salary: $55,000–$60,000/year Benefits

Evan F. Nappen Attorney At Law, PC is a highly respected Criminal Defense law firm in Monmouth County, NJ, known for its focus on Firearm Law and the defense of Constitutional Rights. We’re seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented Paralegal who takes pride in their work, thrives under pressure, and values precision and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer phones and communicate clearly with attorneys, clients, and court personnel
• Conduct client intake and prepare initial case files
• Open, organize, and distribute incoming mail and email
• Draft and file legal documents through New Jersey e-Courts
• Schedule and calendar client conferences and case deadlines
• Manage case files throughout their lifecycle, including closing and archiving
• Provide daily status updates to the firm President
  
  

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of paralegal experience (criminal law experience preferred)
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Adobe)
• Familiarity with case management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with strong multitasking and problem-solving abilities
• Adaptable to new technologies and fast-changing legal processes
