Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including floors, offices, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
- Handle cleaning chemical agents safely by following proper chemical handling procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment.
- Conduct custodial tasks such as trash removal, dusting, window washing, and sanitation to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, buffers, carpet cleaners, and other industrial cleaning tools efficiently and safely.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs, painting (residential or commercial), and upkeep of building systems to support overall building functionality.
- Follow safe lifting practices when handling heavy objects or equipment to prevent injuries during manual handling activities.
- Support sanitation efforts by adhering to strict safety protocols during chemical handling and cleaning procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards and safety regulations are consistently followed.
Skills
- Ability to operate various cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and carpet cleaners effectively.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining safe lifting practices.
- Basic facilities maintenance skills including minor repairs, painting, and general upkeep.
- Knowledge of safety protocol adherence related to cleaning chemicals, equipment use, and workplace safety regulations.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
