EV.Careers is currently seeking a full-time Electronic Hardware Engineer for one of our partners that is driving the world towards sustainable mobility with cutting-edge EV charging technology. In this position, you will establish and structure repair and analysis processes for power stack systems, power units, and printed circuit boards while performing detailed failure analyses to determine root causes of product and component failures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed failure analyses to pinpoint the root cause of product, component, or system failures.
- Replicate failure modes through testing to validate proposed corrective actions.
- Propose and implement corrective actions to prevent future issues.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of failure analyses and their corresponding solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Production, and Quality, to drive product and process improvements.
- Utilize statistical tools to analyze failure data and identify trends.
- Perform risk assessments to proactively prevent future failures.
- Communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences through detailed reports and presentations.
- Establish and streamline repair and analysis processes for power stacks, power units, and printed circuit boards in a production environment.
- Manage the analysis and repair of products returned from the field.
- Ensure repair and analysis orders are completed on time by coordinating efficiently across departments.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or a related field
Experience with failure analysis techniques, such as FMEA, 8D or RCA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
In-depth knowledge of electronics and knowledge of repairing equipment and electronic components
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- Experience with quality control and/or manufacturing processes
- Experience in power electronics development and/or failure analysis
