We are searching for a motivated & experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist
Manages and oversees the full cycle recruiting process and identifying talent from the requisition through the on-boarding process. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates through various channels, planning interview and selection procedures and hosting or participating in career events. To be successful in this role, you should be able to develop long-term recruiting strategies and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires.
Ultimately, the position will create strong talent pipelines for our company’s current and future hiring needs.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.
- Manages full cycle recruitment process using Applicant Tracking System (ATS), and all related activities, to include job postings, applicant tracking, applicant screening, interview scheduling, and background check process, and job offer process.
- Works with managers to identify quality candidates, assisting in the interview process, providing the necessary coaching and feedback for candidate selection.
- Working with Corporate HR, directs the development of job descriptions for all new positions, as well as the revision of existing job descriptions as necessary.
- Researches new recruitment avenues, advertisement sources, local partnerships, and tools, such as employee referral reward programs necessary to meet recruiting needs for NJ.
- In conjunction with Corporate HR and salary guidelines and salary structure, as well as internal equity, recommends total compensation package to management for new hires, extending formal job offers to candidates.
- Design interview questions that reflect each positions’ requirements.
- Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
- Build relationships with a wide range of business professional in order to maintain an archive of potential candidates.
- Prepares a list of vetted applicants tailored to the client’s desires and needs.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.
In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
- Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
- Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments. Must follow all Company Safety policies, as well as all GMP regulations and all lock-out/tag-out requirements according to OSHA requirements.
- As an employee you must also be aware of issues associated with food safety and safe food handling practices that are relevant to your job. Formal training is not required, but in house Food Safety Training conducted by a qualified staff member is mandatory. You must know how to recognize, prevent and alleviate food safety hazards. This position requires good working knowledge of the SQF code.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
Minimum 7-10 years of recruiting experience in a manufacturing or production environment. Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs) a must along with familiarity with social media, resume database and professional networks. Must have hands-on experience with full cycle recruiting using various interview techniq1ue and evaluation methods. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be bi-lingual.
