Edgebander and Boring Machine OperatorJob Overview

Euromax Authentic European Furniture is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of our industrial edgebanding and edge boring machines. We primarily utilize Homag technology to achieve the precision and high-quality finish our brand is known for.

Key Responsibilities

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate edgebanders and boring machines (specifically Homag or similar CNC/automated woodworking machinery).
• Quality Control: Inspect finished pieces for clean edges, proper glue application, and precise hole placement to ensure they meet our "Authentic European" quality standards.
• Tooling & Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning glue pots, changing cutters, and adjusting drill bits.
• Material Handling: Select correct edgebanding tapes and panels according to production tickets.
• Troubleshooting: Monitor machine performance and make manual or software adjustments to correct defects or misalignments.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience operating industrial edgebanders or boring machines.
• Technical Skills: Direct experience with Homag machinery is highly preferred, though experience with Biesse, SCM, or Felder is also relevant.
• Precision: Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and use calipers/measuring tapes with high accuracy.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift panels up to 50 lbs.
• Reliability: Strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean workspace.
