Job Description
Our laboratory operations support analysts support laboratory operations. This is not a data analytics role.
- Update equipment management system to add, remove, or change equipment. Ensure records are up-to-date and accurate.
- Serve as the liaison with various Contractors to carry out equipment repairs and maintenance in Malvern and Spring House in order to:
- Manage the timely execution and closure of work orders.
- Support timing and execution of the annual entitlements process.
- Participate in TDS Lab Operations initiatives, e.g., aligning service standards across TDS, network firewall implementation, and other initiatives to be specified.
- Manage remediation and support the Quality GEMBA process in partnership with the Quality and Safety organizations. Take appropriate actions to address reported discrepancies and implement changes to prevent repeat observations.
- Partner with vendors for lab ordering activities including:
- Solve storage challenges
- Identify opportunities for ordering and inventory management efficiencies
- Track ordering, storage, and consumption of critical lab materials.
- Provide input on functional planning details, e.g., assumptions to inform supply cost forecasting, provide input on lab changes / updates in conjunction with DPD&D strategies.
- Provide support for lab captains to solve challenges.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related science (chemistry, pharmacy or equivalent sciences degree)
- Experience with GMP regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Familiar with laboratory environment and laboratory safety practices
- Authorization to work in the United States without restriction.
