Administrative Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinates with the National Service Center and leads routine accounting processes, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and invoicing
  
  activities to ensure appropriate financial reporting.
• Assists with receptionist/front desk and other clerical duties, as needed, in support of the
  
  administrative staff.
• Assists with schedule and travel management for the Business Unit Manager.
• May schedule facility maintenance and repair to ensure laboratory is operating within operational,
  
  security and safety requirements.
• Provides administrative support to management and other laboratory employees as needed
  
  to facilitate operational requirements.
• Prepares agendas, meeting notes, and miscellaneous correspondence upon request to enhance
  
  internal communication.
• Collects and tabulates information for spreadsheets, reports, and databases to produce reports for
  
  various laboratory management personnel for internal and external communication purposes.
• Coordinates purchasing activities for administrative items and may also support purchasing for
  
  laboratory areas to provide departments with the proper supplies in a timely manner.
• Oversees facility preparation for on-site meetings with clients to present a good image for
  
  Eurofins Environment Testing America.
• Distributes mail, faxes, and various business correspondence to the appropriate department or
  
  employee so that it may be processed in a timely manner daily.
• Ensures human resources policies and programs are communicated in a timely manner to
  
  laboratory staff, providing training when needed.
• May assist in management of Environmental Health & Safety policies and procedures to ensure a
  
  safe and secure workplace for employees.
  
  

Qualifications:

Education: HS Diploma Required, College Degree Preferred

Experience: No previous experience required.

• Positive, friendly attitude with desire to help customers.
• General Computer skills, basic experience with Microsoft Office
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
