What You’ll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery as scheduled
- Repair machinery and equipment when needed
- Install new machinery and electrical components to keep operations on the cutting edge
- Communicate with management and operators regarding machine performance and needs
- Maintain logs of all maintenance and repairs for accurate tracking
- Operate forklifts and boom lifts when necessary
- Work in diverse environments—office, shop floor, and production areas
- Handle physical tasks including standing/walking on concrete for extended periods, lifting up to 60 lbs unassisted, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and working in confined spaces
- Work at heights over 3 feet and in environments ranging from hot to cold, sometimes dusty
- Safely work with industrial machinery, electricity, mechanical components, and cleaning chemicals
- Prior experience in mechanical and electrical equipment maintenance
- Proficient with VOM meters and reading wiring diagrams
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
- Ability to work weekends and occasional overtime as needed
- Strong attention to detail and safety
