About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Landscape Architect – Project Manager to lead and execute a wide range of landscape planning and design projects. This role involves managing projects from initial concept through construction documentation while collaborating with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of creative design, technical expertise, and project management capabilities to deliver high-quality, functional, and sustainable outdoor environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage landscape architecture projects from concept design through construction administration
- Develop comprehensive landscape plans, including site planning and planting design
- Prepare design drawings, construction documents, and project specifications
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and consultants to ensure project alignment and success
- Ensure designs meet aesthetic, functional, environmental, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee project schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Coordinate permitting processes and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
- Present design concepts and project updates to clients and stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
- Proven experience in landscape planning, design, and project management
- Strong knowledge of planting plans, horticulture, and sustainable design practices
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively within a team environment
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills
- Understanding of construction methods, documentation, and permitting processes
- Professional licensure in Landscape Architecture (preferred) or ability to obtain
