Eurasia Group is seeking an Associate-level Client Relationship Manager for our Global Markets Business Development group. This position is based in the firm's New York office. This is an excellent position for a someone with 2-5 years of experience who would like to grow into a business development professional.
In this position, you will manage existing client relationships and support senior business development colleagues in the Global Markets (financial services) group. Responsibilities include proactive and reactive interaction with current clients, meeting facilitation between clients and the research team, creation of client profiles to help analysts understand clients’ needs, client database management, meeting and travel planning for analysts and sales professionals, client event planning, and reporting.
Must be a self-starter and proactive yet work collaboratively within the team. You will track multiple projects, clients and events at once so an ability to multi-task and prioritize is essential. This role requires a high level of flexibility and attention to detail. You will regularly interact with our Directors of Business Development, Directors of Research, and a cadre of analysts to successfully build out the firm’s reach in the financial services community. You will have excellent presentation (oral and written) skills and an analytical bent. You should be self-motivated, have a positive attitude and exhibit high energy both internally and in client interactions.
A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required. You should be able to discuss financial market concepts and market conditions with clients and have a working knowledge of various investment strategies and disciplines. Strong organizational skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint are required. Applicants should have an interest in international affairs and political risk, and understand Eurasia Group’s core competencies. Travel in the US may be required.
