Key Responsibilities:
- The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Eunice Manor Nursing Home is responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing facility setting. The role involves working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest quality of compassionate care is delivered to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor residents' health status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, mobility, and feeding.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of nursing care provided.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic care to residents, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff to address any concerns or questions.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain current nursing knowledge and skills.
