Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, bed making, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms by executing regular cleaning routines and floor care procedures
• Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and using proper protective equipment during cleaning tasks
• Conduct heavy lifting when moving furniture or supplies, ensuring manual handling safety protocols are followed at all times
• Use industrial cleaning tools and equipment efficiently to ensure high standards of sanitation and hygiene are met across all hotel spaces
• Respond promptly to guest requests or concerns related to housekeeping services with excellent customer service skills
• Follow hotel emergency procedures in case of incidents or safety hazards, ensuring the well-being of guests and staff at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial experience within hospitality settings
• Strong knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling procedures
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and extractors effectively
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) to ensure safe handling of cleaning chemicals
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and standing for extended periods during shifts
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members
• Previous hotel experience or industrial cleaning background is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
