This is a high-energy, fast-paced role at the center of our operation.
You will own the flow of every customer order — from receipt to shipment — while acting as the primary point of communication between customers, production, and logistics.
This is not a sit-back, process-only role.
The right person:
· Thrives in a fast-moving, high-interruption environment
· Enjoys constant communication with customers and teammates
· Makes quick decisions — even with incomplete information
· Stays calm and professional under pressure
· Brings energy, urgency, and accountability every single day
· If you prefer predictable, steady work with minimal interaction, this role is not a fit.

What You'll Be Doing
Own the Customer Order Flow
Take full ownership of customer jobs from order entry through shipment. Review incoming orders, specs, and requirements quickly and accurately. Identify missing or unclear information and resolve it — immediately.
Customer Communication (This Is Critical)
Serve as a primary point of contact for customers. Handle daily calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and urgency. Provide updates, solve problems, and manage expectations in real time. Confidently handle complaints and high-pressure situations.
Shipping & Logistics
Coordinate and prioritize daily shipping activity. Ensure orders are packaged, documented, and shipped correctly and on time. Schedule freight, coordinate pickups, and communicate with carriers.
Receiving & Job Intake
Oversee incoming customer material, verify accuracy, and ensure proper identification, tagging, and routing. Quickly align priorities with production.
Lead a Small Team
Lead and direct 2–3 shipping, receiving, and order entry team members. Set daily priorities, adjust as conditions change, and jump in hands-on when needed. When this department runs well, the whole company runs well — and you'll take that seriously.
Quality & Compliance
Follow written procedures to ensure compliance to quality standards. Maintain accurate documentation for traceability and certification. Support audits and actively look for ways to make things better.
