Content Marketing Strategist

Location: Wentzville, MO
Salary Range:60,000 - 70,000 (Salary will be experienced based)

Schedule: Flexible/Hybrid, Monday-Friday

etrailer is the leading online destination for towing, RVing, and outdoor vehicle accessories. We’re looking for a Content Marketing Strategist who’s curious, thoughtful, and passionate about helping people solve real problems through clear, useful, and trustworthy content.

In this role, you’ll figure out what questions customers are asking and create content that not only answers those questions but helps them feel confident in their decisions. You’ll pull from real-world experience - your own, our install techs’, and the feedback that comes through customer calls and feedback - to turn hands-on knowledge into clear, useful content that builds trust and makes complex topics simple. Our goal is to have the most helpful, reliable content anywhere online for people using the products we sell.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute strategies to grow organic and answer engine traffic and revenue
• Research real customer questions and find new opportunities for helpful 
• Write and optimize how-to guides, product explainers, and Q&A resources that make complex topics easy to understand
• Leverage insights from SEO analytics tools to monitor performance, uncover insights and discover growth opportunities
• Pull ideas from technician trainings, product reviews, and customer calls to build content from in-house expertise
•  Use AI tools to identify and repurpose insights into helpful, scalable content
• Collaborate with SEO, product, and marketing teams to align content with customer needs and business goals
• Review performance metrics, learn from what works, and continually improve
• Gain consumer and product insight from weekly hands-on trainings with our products

What You’ll Bring:

•  3 years of experience in content strategy, SEO, or growth marketing
• A track record of creating content that ranks, converts, and genuinely helps people
• Strong understanding of search intent, featured snippets, and answer engine optimization
• Excellent writing skills and an ability to simplify complex topics
• Experience using Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools
• Curiosity about how things work. Bonus if you’re interested in trailers, RVs, or outdoor gear
• Comfortable experimenting with AI tools to improve workflow and insight
